Platform Policies

Refund Policy—

All donations are final. The platform does not offer automatic or guaranteed refunds. If a goal is not fully funded, the raised amount can either be rolled over to the next goal or used for the current order, with the streamer covering the difference. Processing and platform fees are non-refundable.

Use of Funds—

Funds must be used toward food-based goals such as delivery meals, groceries for cooking streams, or any meal directly tied to live content. Grocery-based goals are limited to once per week and must support specific stream content.

Payout Policy—

Payouts are processed manually once the goal ends. The preferred method is digital gift cards, sent via email or Discord DM. Other methods may be available by request, including PayPal, Apple Pay, bank transfer, or Stripe. Streamers are responsible for placing their own orders once paid.

Donation Overflow—

If a goal exceeds its target amount, all excess donations are automatically rolled over to the next goal. Overflow is not paid out separately and cannot be withdrawn as an individual tip. The platform does not issue overflow as a separate redemption.

Failed Goals—

If a goal does not reach 100% funding, the streamer will still receive the raised amount. They may choose to use it and cover the difference out-of-pocket or roll it into a future goal. Refunds are not issued under any circumstances.

Goal Frequency Rules—

Streamers may set up to 4 goals per day. Each goal may last a maximum of 3.5 hours. New goals cannot be started until the previous one has ended, even if it’s fully funded early.

At-Home Cooking Policy—

Grocery-based or cooking goals are permitted once per week. These must be tied to live content such as cooking streams or meal prep shown during the broadcast. All cooking-related goals must be food-focused and content-relevant.

Community Behavior—

"Fuel the Stream" does not tolerate harassment, abuse, spam, or exploitation of the donation system. Any users violating platform rules may be banned at our discretion.

Privacy Commitment—

We only collect what’s needed to operate the platform — including your Twitch username, email address, and payout preference. We never sell or share personal data, and all information is stored securely and used only internally.
